From his kitchen in Coworth Park, Adam Smith conjures exquisite dishes. Inspired by childhood memories and personal experiences, he weaves together unexpected ingredients, textures and flavours to reimagine classics from the British cookbook.
This project was commissioned by the Dorchester Collection to help elevate the dining experience, and establish the hotel restaurant as a dining destination in its own right. The new brand amplifies the artistry of Adam’s kitchen in a layered identity that reveals itself slowly through the dining experience. From sculptural signage that collides materials, to expressive ingredient collages on the menus and evocative storytelling at the table.
By revealing the personal stories that inspired Adam, a direct narrative between chef and diner was created, bringing greater meaning to the menus, and enriching the dining experience.
